flatfair Tenant Guarantor charges a one-off service fee, starting from four weeks’ rent. Your exact fee depends on your application and tenancy details, and you’ll see the full amount before accepting the terms and making payment.
The service fee is not a tenancy deposit, rent in advance or money held towards future rent. It pays for the Tenant Guarantor service.
What should I check before paying?
Before you accept the terms or pay, check:
- your full name
- the property address
- your agreed rent share
- the tenancy start date and other tenancy details
- the quoted fee
- the Tenant Guarantor agreement terms
Contact your agent and flatfair before paying if any information is wrong.
What if my payment fails or I have been charged unexpectedly?
Avoid making repeated payment attempts. Submit a support request and include your full name, property address and Guarantor service ID or flatfair plan ID.
A payment or payment attempt does not by itself mean that the service is active. Check your flatfair account under "Tenant Guarantor" to view the status which should show as "active"
Can I cancel flatfair Tenant Guarantor?
If the tenancy is no longer going ahead or you want to stop before activation, contact your agent and flatfair immediately.
Once the service is active, do not assume that you can cancel it. Cancellation may require the landlord or agent's agreement. Your rights and the outcome depend on when you ask to cancel and the terms of the Tenant Guarantor agreement you accepted.
Will I receive a refund?
A refund is not automatic. Whether a refund is available depends on the circumstances, the timing of the request and the terms of the Tenant Guarantor agreement.
Contact flatfair as soon as possible if you believe you should receive a refund. Include your full name, property address, Guarantor service ID or flatfair plan ID and the reason for your request.
This article is a summary. It does not change the signed Tenant Guarantor agreement, your tenancy agreement or the quote provided to you. If this article and an agreement differ, the agreement takes priority.
