How do I accept and pay end-of-tenancy charges?

If you agree with the proposed charges after checking them carefully, accept them in your flatfair account and pay the established amount by the deadline shown. 

How to accept a charge

1. Open the end-of-tenancy case for the correct property.
2. Review every charge, its evidence and the total.
3. Select the option to accept the relevant charge or settlement.
4. Read the confirmation explaining the amount that will become due.
5. Confirm only if the amount and your decision are correct.

How to make payment

1. Use the secure payment option shown in your flatfair account or payment message.
2. Pay by the displayed deadline. Once all charges are established, payment is normally due within 5 days.
3. Keep the payment confirmation and check that the case balance updates.

Can tenants divide the payment between them?

Yes, if tenants agree a particular split of the amount owed, each tenant can pay their share.

What if I accepted by mistake?

Contact flatfair immediately and do not make a second response. State the property, charge and time of the mistake. flatfair cannot promise that a confirmed acceptance can be reversed, particularly if the other party has relied on it or the case has progressed.

What if the payment does not appear?

Allow any processing period shown, then contact flatfair with the payment date, amount and transaction reference. Do not send full card or online-banking details.
