Boost works alongside landlord insurance products such as Rent and Legal Protection (RLP). flatfair Boost protection is only applicable for dilapidation and damage costs. It doesn’t cover unpaid rent.
For tenancies with Boost and Rent and Legal Protection, the standard process will apply by first taking dilapidation and damage costs out of the traditional deposit or the flatfair No Deposit, before rent arrears charges are taken. flatfair will automatically calculate the maximum amount of protection you may be eligible for and will notify you through the platform.
Please note that if you have taken out one of these policies after Boost has been activated, you’ll need to inform us within 14 days from the start of the policy, either by emailing support@flatfair.co.uk or via the live chat function on flatfair’s online platform.
Please be aware that claiming on your RLP and/or other insurances like Content Insurance, House/Building insurance, for the same item as you claim from flatfair is not lawful. Suspected cases of fraud will be reported to the authorities.
